The Matrix element i is a headphone amp and a digital audio player (DAP) that can stream over Wi-Fi, wired network, Airplay, DLNA, or using you collected digital audio. With the Android and iOS MA Remote app, you can now play your high quality digital audio, using TIDAAL, Qobuz, or ROON.

The element i has a discrete component headphone amp with up to 1300mw of power, which can easily drive various high-resistance full-sized headphones and high-sensitive IEMs. It is equipped with the ES9028PRO 8-channel D/A chip from ESS and the XU208 audio interface from XMOS. It also comes with the IIS LVDS port, which allow element i to connect to USB interface with femtosecond clocks. Finally, the element i is powered by an external power supply, which audiophiles can upgrade to their requirements.
